How can I succeed in my hybrid classes?

College Admissions

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many of us in diverse ways, so some of you may be facing a hybrid school system for your classes. The hybrid system involves attending class in-person on certain days, and from home for the rest of the week. So, with these major changes, how can you be successful?

Remember that humans are individuals of habit, and that this hybrid system breaks your normal routine of attending classes 5 days a week. This is why organization is key, so you will need to keep a schedule or put reminders in your phone for homework due dates and exams (as you will not have a teacher reminding you in person).

In addition, flexibility is paramount. The coronavirus situation is subject to change, causing classes to all become online or even all in-person, so you may have to adapt to changes that occur. You may become confused or frustrated, which is why it is important to have people who support you (such as classmates or parents) to help you succeed through whatever obstacles you face this school year.
